Listening to Jesus

If you are a Christian who is experiencing great difficulties, consider this conversation with Jesus.  He is talking with you directly and personally, at a time when you experience a lot of stress and anxiety about situations you can’t control.   You’ve prayed, pleaded and begged for relief.  Yet you are not aware of any changes or few of them.   You become weary, tired and doubtful.  Jesus has not left you or forsaken you.   In fact, He wants to comfort you and give you peace during these times.  He wants you to know that no matter what you are going through, that he is your Refuge, your Strength and your Healer.  Although I don’t know your circumstance, I have been in distressful situations and I wondered where Jesus was and why wasn’t he responding to my pleas.  And this is what he related to me.

There is an oasis……

I am teaching you how to be an over comer, to find peace in all circumstances.  It is well that you wait on me, yet you continue to plea for your release.  You fall into despair. If you would just focus on me and have confidence in me, you would find peace.

You are in a waiting period.  I am preparing you.  In a desert, there are places of restoration.  I welcome you to my oasis where you will find peace.

I am teaching you how to be an over comer, not someone who gives up easily.  Trust me with your future.  Your resistance hurts your walk with me; it takes you out of my presence.  Come and abide in me; allow me to comfort you.  Trust me so that you can thrive in the desert with me by your side.

Isa 58:11 And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

John 16:33  I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

If I were to meet you, preferably in a natural setting or quaint restaurant, I would most likely greet you with a smile. I would treat you like I had known you and was very glad to see you. Then I would want to know a little bit about you and then I would share a little bit about me. I would tell you that I love being creative in art, photography and writing. I might say that I am a Christian depending on the vibe I get. If I felt really comfortable I would tell you that I am very passionate. And the most important thing I could ever do to help others is to encourage and inspire.
